| Directions: BEST WAY TO GO IS THE TRAM Tram Directions! From East 60th and 2nd Avenue: Go up stairs to Tram station. The Tram excepts Metro Cards at the turnstiles. Try to get to the Tram a few minutes early to assure a timely trip. Tram leaves every 15 mintues: :00, :15, :30, :45 It is a 4-minute ride to to the island. Tennis club is a hundred yards to the north of the tram. You will see the bubble on the right under the bridge as your make your descent. If you play tennis at 6pm it is ideal to arrive at the 5:30 Tram. This will give you ample time to get to the club, become oriented and change into your tennis clothes if necessary. They have full service locker rooms at the club. Last Tram runs at midnight! SUBWAY DIRECTIONS (Plan B) This is NOT as efficient as the Tram! F Train at Lexington & E. 63rd. Descend down the stairs and very long escalator to F train platform. Take to Queensborough Bridge stop. Get off at first stop and walk 5-7 minutes North to Tennis Club located under the Queensborough Bridge. BY CAR / TAXI BEST ROUTE: UPPER LEVEL! Go over bridge at E. 59th and 2nd Ave. Once on the bridge bare to the RIGHT and take to 21st Street Exit. At 21st street TURN RIGHT. Take 2 blocks NORTH to 40th AVENUE and take LEFT. Go 6 blocks to end of street to VERNON BLVD and TURN RIGHT. On Vernon travel 3 blocks to Roosevelt Island Bridge and Turn LEFT. Go over bridge and take circle ramp on left to bottom. At the bottom turn LEFT on MAIN Street. Proceed over multiple Speed bumps toward 59th Street Bridge. You will go around the back of the tennis club and circle around to entrance of club (Parking in back) and street parking in the front of club as well. Lower Level of 59th Street/ Queensborough Bridge On the lower level stay to the RIGHT and exit bridge on Queens side to make a quick right onto 29th street. You will see lots of hard-core queens retail here! Turn right on 29th Street and go 2 blocks to 43rd Avenue. and Turn RIGHT. Go appox 10 blocks (past 21st St) to the end to VERNON BLVD and Make RIGHT. Go under QB/59th St bridge and travel 2 minutes to Roosevelt Island Bridge and make LEFT onto Bridge. Go over bridge and take circle ramp on left to bottom. At the bottom turn LEFT on MAIN Street. Proceed over multiple Speed bumps toward 59th Street Bridge. You will go around the back of the tennis club and circle around to entrance of club (Parking in back) and street parking in the front of club as well. |

Take RIGHT on THOMPSON and Entrance to gym is about one-third of the way down the street on the RIGHT hand side. Gym is on the 2nd Floor. Take A/C/E Train to West 4th Street. Walk SOUTH on 6th AVE to HOUSTON ST. TURN LEFT go 3 Blocks to THOMPSON STREET Take RIGHT on THOMPSON and Entrance to gym is about one- third of the way down the street on the RIGHT hand side. Gym is on the 2nd Floor. Changing rooms are available on the First Floor if you need them. There is no shower facility at the venue. Bring bottled water to the class for if you desire. All Players need to bring a racquet to class! |

Take either TWO elevators on the FAR RIGHT. . Take elevator to 38th FLOOR. Once off elevator turn RIGHT then LEFT. Follow signs to Tennis court. Look for EXIT/Tennis Court Sign on LEFT enter through this door and follow up stairs to the tennis court on the 39th Floor. Health club is on 27th floor with showers and lockerrooms. You will proceed straight to 38/39th floor where tennis court if you don't need the locker rooms. If you get lost go to health club on 27th floor for directions. Or consult doorman as you enter the hotel. |
